HYDROGENE PEPR-H2 School

The National Research Program on low carbon Hydrogen (PEPR-H2)

The national research program on low carbon hydrogen (PEPR-H2) aims at levering several scientific and technological barriers throughout the whole hydrogen value chain. This program, funded as part of the national acceleration strategy on hydrogen within France 2030 act, will allow to increase the scientific knowledge in this field as well as accelerating the transfer from lab to fab, hydrogen being a promising energy vector towards a low carbon energy transition. At this stage, 20 projects are launched.

The PEPR-H2 School

The PEPR-H2 organize a special event, namely a School,  that offers the opportunity to PhD and early researchers involved in the projects of the program. About ten PhD students working on low-carbon hydrogen within European organizations will be invited to join the school. The event, organized from 6 to 11 October, is composed of the following:

6-7 october : Keynote Lectures on the major topics of hydrogen: production, conversion, combustion, storage, transport, systems.....

8-11 october : Thematic workshops organised jointly with the CNRS Hydrogen Research Federation (Plénières de FRH2). The recent research results will be presented by PhD students, post-doctoral fellows and senior researchers.

Whole week : Poster sessions to present the PhD’s research activities.

Logistics

Participation to the PEPR-H2 school, including accommodation (double room) and meals throughout the event, is free of charge for PhD students recruited as part of PEPR-H2 projects, but the registration is compulsory.

Please note that the travel to the school’ premises in not covered.

Venue : Village Club Miléade, 186 av. de Melgueil, 34 280 LA GRANDE-MOTTE

Date :
Saturday 5 October (6 pm) to Friday 11 October
(2 pm)

The number of participants being limited, the registration will be based on “first come, first served” !
Also, priority will be given to PhD students registering for the entire hydrogen week (5-11 Oct.)

2nd deadline for registration is 30 June 2024 at 12:00
